How old were you when you wrote your first song, and has your style of writing changed?

I was probably I'd say about 12 years old when I wrote my first song; and it was called Paradise, and it was about my mother and dad dying. So I was really depressing then too. My style is, as you get older and gain more experience in your life, you start writing about things that are pertinent to you at the time, but I think I've always been this morose little person, and I mean, I like Classical music. That's really sad in the minor key. As I learn and as I grown up a little more, I'm sure my writing will change. I don't do rock and roll or anything, but you never know, I might do a Punk record or something one of these days; when I'm 50.
